Kia ora. My name is Debbie Gee and I am the Managing Director of Flourish Consulting.

The name I chose for my company – Flourish – reflects my aspirations for my clients.

Flourish exists to provide a range of professional management consulting services. I can draw on and share my diverse set of skills, knowledge, qualifications and –  most importantly – experience to help your organisation develop, grow and thrive.

My career path has provided me with fantastic insights into what does and does not work when organisations face the myriad of challenges that change, growth, downsizing, opportunity, or a pandemic, throws at them.

Following a career in journalism, I had more than 30 years’ senior management experience in strategic communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement across central and local government as well as more recent experience as a director on non-profit and community organisations.

I am proudly of Ngāi Tahu/Ngāti Mamoe descent, although born and raised in Māngere in South Auckland. My life experience and work history have instilled a deep understanding of and commitment to Treaty partnerships and Māori representation, as well as broader aspects of human rights, inclusion and diversity.
